Do you remember all the hoopla regarding the incredible sale of worldairways.com last year?
https://www.namepros.com/threads/look-at-bidding-war-for-worldairways-com.1016665/

Well, if you do the airline has apparently comeback quickly, trying to redevelop itself...

However, they have a problem. Trademark they tried to get has apparently failed....
https://trademarks.justia.com/872/56/world-87256314.html

And they are being challenged by an "Auriga World Airways" company for this trademark....
https://trademarks.justia.com/876/61/auriga-world-87661216.html

So there is no actual presently live trademark on "world airways.".

I have picked up a few "world airways" gtld domains along the way while the .com domain was in hiatus. Do I have a TM problem now??

What was your intent behind registering the domains? What are those domains?

98% of Trademarks are EXPIRED, its like domain names, if you don't pay the renewal you lose the domain, and the TM owner Lose the TM too...

A trademark enforcement does not require an actual trademark. Prior use, word mark and common marks can also apply. Further, you obviously know of the prior use and the potential trademark so you're trying to profit off a known IP (this will post will work against you). Also, this is known as cybersquatting!

This was a bankrupt defunct airline with an expired trademark and a third party coming in buying the .com, trying to redevelop the brand and secure the trademark which they did not get. Did I not have as much rights to the name as the party that bought the .com? Or are we all cybersquatters?

Valid and active trademark: https://www.trademarkia.com/world-airways-75437558.html
You can take your own call (though I would recommend a lawyer's advice). One entity was denied a TM. Does not mean others do not already have a TM. The link above is for the exact phrase "World Airways", assigned to an entity "WORLD AIRWAYS HOLDINGS LLC". Not sure how much more explicit it can get.

You asked for opinions. If you're not open to opinions and thoughts that are contrary to your expectation, why ask? I might not be right but snarky replies to others will not necessarily elicit responses from others.
