Hey everyone!

I have been spending a lot of time reading in the Parking & Traffic Monetization forum the last week - have some plans together for a few sites from it.

My question involves a website parked with Sedo (shiftbackspace//com). I have had over 1000 unique visitors in the last month, but have a CTR that is epically low. I spend a little time customizing the look and keywords within Sedo, but it still only advertises for lingerie (hey, I am a fan...but still) and clothing. I ran a Linux-focused website for a couple of years with this domain and I know that most of the traffic I get is Linux-related (hence my Linux keywords). I have attached traffic stats and keyword screenshot for your convenience.

I know that I will probably be developing the site a little more or moving it with a different parking firm, but what has happened? I am more concerned from a learning perspective so any help/criticism is more than welcome!

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for responding dbtbandit, I have realized that Sedo isn't the best place to park, but I am still learning. I am most likely going to get a mini-site going that provides screenshots of the latest Linux releases (people seemed to eat these up before). With the kind of traffic I have now I would have thought I would have more than 6 clicks in 900 visits - even with Sedo.

You may want to give AdSense For Domains or WhyPark a try. With that type of traffic and that little click thru, you need to move off of Sedo right away.

Thanks Saas! I've mostly just been researching what the best options are - I tried Noomle for a few days with no results...maybe I wasn't patient enough. I am a programmer so I was considering just buying a hosting plan that allows for unlimited domains and spending 15-20 hours per domain on a mini-site, but I might try WhyPark first.

I always say that the #1 trait for domainers is patience, yet I definitely don't seem to have it!
