Have you ever had situations where you've registered an available domain, and then the next day or two you say "ah man, I wish I didn't buy this! I don't want/need it anymore"

Yes, that happens to some people. For example registering a domain with a typo by accident. There are many registration providers that will let you do a refund on a domain within the first few days of registration. Godaddy is one of the places that allows that. I also allow it on regbird and on the regbird star program as long as the option isnt abused. You would need to check with each provider to see what their policy is. Some places stopped doing it now due to domain tasting.

I belive the majority have done this, many times....

"If i don't reg now, it's going to be taken"!!!!

One thing you can do is to have a large list and look at it for days and shrink it, bit by bit....
Best advice i can give out :hearts:

I dislike godaddy, better reg with moniker... =)
Very friendly support, nice price and so on :)! Go Moniker!

Never. I plan my domain acquisitions several days in advance, and study them programmatically. Copy and paste out of the program after I've checked inbound links, Alexa, etc.

Of course, it has happened to me, especially when I started (which was not too long ago). I am more cautions now that I know some facts about the industry.
