I finally got the idea of the new domain and the site i should run. The domain was available . lustconfess.com

I was surprised to see it was still available . And i fund my account at registerfly with $10 and went to register. The order just never processed . So i tried many times. Also my account balance at registerfly is not correct . I contacted their support people but NO RESPONDSE. Then i went to godaddy. com and GUESS WHAT!!!! lustconfess.com is no longer available. I'M SURE the guy used domain popularity tool and SAW my search results cos everytime i try to process the order i have to search it again !!! DAMN....My domain's gone. oooooooopssss..not mine !!! Registerfly and that guy simply stole it !!!!!

*SCREAM*************************** :td:

I would suggest contacting them again. They were having issues this morning & I had to reg a few at Fab. I'm guessing that the domain was regged by you, just not put into you account yet. The info in the whois is RF's default account.

Good luck with the domain.

I've had the same thing happen with me with Registerfly a couple of days ago. I regged a domain, and after payment, I got an email saying that the domain registration failed, and that I should try again. I did but the same thing happened, and I tried about six times.

Then after a while I checked the whois info and saw that the registration has gone through, but it was under Registerfly's name, and it was not in my account. I submitted a ticket to ask about it. After a lot of hours waiting and no response, I checked my account again, but still the domain was not in my account. I tried the email support as well as PMed regfly here and finally they responded the next day, and told me the domain was already transferred to my account, though whenever I update my whois info, there is an error and they say they are fixing it.

RegisterFly's system is crazy sometimes.

RF is a less-than-ethical domain registrar. Be careful with your domains you have registered there. If you make them mad, they will take your domains from you. Believe me, it happened to me. I lost 20-25 domains about 2 years or so ago. They just yanked them from me. A few of them were premium domains for sure.

You did good to post your issue publicly becuased RF tends to give better customer service to those that make their issues public, you know, so they can save their areses.

My suggestion to you and anyone is to just use another registrar. Any other ICANN accredited reg will be better than RF. I suggest using namecheap or GD. NO funny businesss like you get a RF.

I wouldn't doubt someone at RegFly stealing your domain, or letting it go to someone else. They have got to have the worst Customer Service, and somewhat erratic reliability too. I've had straggling domains come in hours after the rest of the batch for some unknown reason. I'm working on a plan to pull over 20 domains from them if they don't make some changes.
Here's my review, in the DNRegistrars reviews section, may be helpful:

Idk what's going on, regfly is my favourite company. They have helped me mutiple times and their support if very fast for me. My account balnce was wrong once and they cleared it up and put a little more back in than what I had as an apology.

Try contacting the regfly user on this board by PMing him.

My guess is that it is yet another glitch in their system and the domain was registered using the default profile.

I've not been hung up on, but I've hung up on them after 15, 18 and 25 minutes on hold wating for the "24/7" support. What a joke. Why don't they just say "You're On your own, good luck"? That would make more sense. :imho:

I have been reg-ing my domains through RegisterFly for 3+ years now and while I have on two occassions experienced a glitch when registering (resulting in a 'registration failed' email) I have to say I have never had issue with RegisterFly's support. In both cases I received a prompt response and in the most recent case a few weeks ago after trying several times to reg a .info domain, I contacted them by email, received a response within a couple hours. they explained their was a system issue and that they had manually processed the order for me. Sure enough there it was in my list whan I checked my account.

I have pretty much stayed clear of any instance in which I'd have to "fund" my RegFly acct as 99% of the time I hit a glitch.. that part of their system simply reeks IMO.

I wish they'd get PayPal back but until then I use GoDaddy and here and that's about it.
