Just got an email from Register.com. They sell they are having a big deal till September 25th, 2006.

They said that you can order any domain extension and get one free. They capped it at up to 3 domains free and a cap up to a 5 year reg per domain.

Ok So you say there is a catch. Well there is. The email also said the only way to get the free domains is via the phone. You cant get the domains free using the online registeration.

I have never used register.com before. But I am registered with them. Does anyone know how much the domains are? Or are they still $9.99 a year still?

The last time I used Reg.com (in 04) I think I paid $29.95 for one domain

A .com domain at Register.com is $19.99 so you're paying for both the domains anyways
