Hi,

I've just refeived an offer for the domain: www.stormisover.com.
The offer is $150 - now this is the initial offer and i think a bit low, should i try and negotiate with the bidder or tell him to make the offer on Sedo and then send it to auction? (Also when someone's made an offer is it possible to then have it moved to sedo's front page to increase the exposure?
This newbie domainer thanks you for any advice.

It's tough to appraise a domain. If you think the price is right, a quick sale may be the best. The buyer can change is mind. Will you use Escrow?
Sedo could be an option.

I would not recommend asking the buyer to place his bid through Sedo. This would only cause issues with you losing money, if no one else bids on the domain name. Assume his initial offer is not his top dollar (this is ususally a safe assumption).

With the limited information you have, do research on the buyer. Determine what they may want the domain for, and how valueable it is to them. Accordingly, counter with a price. Honestly, if someone offers me $150 - I usually counter with 7-900 (if the domain is so/so). This should bring your final price around $500....

Use escrow.com if your not comfortable with paypal or if the buyer isnt a verified member...

Good luck!

Justin
