Actually thos idea is very old :P Not to bash you but there is about 20 or so. BIG websites using the same idea.. There is a pixel tower where you own a level of the tower. I few others as well..

Wow, pixel art takes ages to do and whoever made the site must have put a lot of time and effort into it ... I only hope it pays off, which, to be honest, I don't think it will. MillionDollarHomepage was the first and original and I don't think copies (or variations such as this) will ever pay off.
