What is real truth about parking companies?
I parked 30 domains with BODIS in 20 days there is only 6 visits and just 2 clicks from India and revenue is $1.
Same domains I parked with SEDO and in last 12 Days 186 Unique Visits and 87 Clicks 37% visits from Brazil and 17% from USA But revenue is just $0.03
I want to know what is reality of parking companies.
Experienced members please give your opinion so it will help me as well other new members.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I think you are getting some bots in there that Bodis filtered out. Different everywhere and things can change on a swing.

Sedo's filtering is very weak, that's why.
Use ParkingCrew to determine your real traffic.

Filtering is weak? You mean that all 186 visits and 87 clicks are not from real peoples.

These 87 clicks are not a real PPC-clicks on Google ads, just redirects to advertisers (Tier2/ZeroClick mode).

Some of your domains are banned by Google or Adult, that's why ZeroClick was enforced by Sedo.
But even in this mode Tier2-advertisers don't pay for bots, that's why revenue is just $0.03

Don't use Sedo at all.
Their parking is awful for many years, incl. their ZeroClick-network.

Regarding Bodis...
Their Tier2-backend is average in terms of revenue, ZeroClick at ParkingCrew is significantly better.

@Jurgen Wolf Thank You for help.
I don't parked any adult name and these are normal domains why banned from Google?
Though I don't understand much what you say.
But one thing is clear lets try ParkingCrew now.

I've been running my own servers since 2003 and every year there are more sources of malicious bots that I have to block. Some parking companies are good at blocking out bad traffic like I do myself and others leave it wide open and just add more servers $ instead of killing off the wasteful traffic. Unless you have your domains parked on your own servers like myself then you really don't know the true legit traffic numbers as going by some weaker filtering parking company statistics you can basically chop 50%+ off of the numbers as all bots. So most domainers aren't aware that 50% of their traffic is useless malicious bots. If buying domains based on traffic numbers then depending on where it's parked will determine how much of that traffic you should consider trash depending on the parking companies filtering. Based on the 2 companies you mentioned Bodis filters out much more malicious traffic than Sedo does.

Once Google fail lists (bans) a domain it will typically no longer deliver ads for that name thereby relegating any such banned domains to an alternative provider - referred to by parking companies as "2nd tier" which often pays much less. This can affect any domain and doesn't directly relate to the domain's category.

sooo...if I list domains for sale at Sedo (or anywhere else) would you recommend using their supplied parking/sales page or should I park all domains I'm thinking of selling elsewhere(i.e. Bodis) and simply list with the makretplace?

Sedoparking is the worst in industry...

So as someone new to domaining, the question I was asking, if I were to list some domains I wish to sell at a marketplace like Sedo, would you recommend parking at a company like Bodis while listing BIN on Sedo (or any other marketplace)? Is that what most successful sellers do?

I notice that Sedo get a lot of the larger value reported domain sales, and I've been curious about how the buyers find them. I assumed the seller simply listed with Sedo, created the park/sales page they provide and waited for viewers....or end users searched the Sedo site. But I guess the point would be to have the best park page that provides the most relevant sales details/pitch of the asset for sale, coupled with the strongest possibility to monetize the asset while it's sitting and most importantly, the most accurate 'real' views and not bots. Am I understanding this?

I'm learning and appreciate your feedback.

Thank you

I don't use Sedo or any other marketplace...
I just use their Escrow service (3% or min. $60) and park my domains with Bodis and ParkingCrew...

Regarding so-called "Sedo sales" in weekly reports...
Tons of them are just a transactions via Sedo escrow...

Oh, so not even listed on the Sedo? The detail and prices etc are exclusive to your parking page? So the end user can't search for your domain names on the Sedo system (or any toher marketplace)...the only way your domain can be found for sale would be through a direct browser search for the specific domain name?

I thought sellers would want to list with the larger services like Sedo and as Im learning, park their domain elsewhere.

ok thanks

Most endusers are visiting necessary domain directly... they don't use any marketplaces...
~95-99% of marketplace users are just another domainers like you...

interesting. thank you

would you mind if I was able to see one of your parking pages where the domain is for sale? Just to see an example as reference. you've been doing this a while, so I couldn't imagine many other people being more informative of at least the basics on what works.

p.s. Epik provides FREE escrow for their domains and 1.5% for domains registered elsewhere...
Listing on their marketplace is FREE...
+ individual prices for domainers...

Thank you very much. no prices listed, no need to create a write-up. and if you find a buyer you just oint them towards your sedo escrow and that's it?

do you find your domain sales thru this method work quite well?

oh...so two different pricing options....one for end-users and another that other domainers are offered? with the escrow built in, that seems to be a pretty decent option.

I sell my domains in passive mode only... I don't spend my time on outbounds...

Individual prices at Epik = TLD prices (Reg/Renewal/Transfer).
