Hey everyone,
I finally got my first domain scam email. :hehe: :hehe:
I'm so happy that I've read all the warnings on NamePros from people who've gotten the exact same email. I decided that I'm gonna mess with the guy a little for fun. The email is attached below. I asked if he'd pay 10 grand USD and of course he said yes and then sent me that fake appraisal email. I told him I was under the impression that Sedo's better. Ha

Please let me know a quote in US dollars or Euros for the name mentioned in the subject of this email. We saw it listed for sale.

Our company develops software (mainly client-server systems).

If you offer more domains for sale with good reselling potential please email us your list. We are going to resell domains later to generate additional income since this is not our main business.

That one has been around for sometime now. I think I got that about 8 or so months ago.

Yep, they used to be Opera Solutions but got wary I guess. You'd think they'd change their default email a bit, right?

Got that too, did a search and found out it was a scam !!!!

I was going to request a million dollars from the guy at first just to see if he really thought I was THAT stupid. But, I settled with 10k (lol). He replied rather fast.

Once again, the domain used by these people is registered/managed by this Norvegian ISP (Webhuset).

I got one and i thought they usually put affiliate links in or something and he didnt do anything of the sort, he didnt even advertise a particular appraisal method, just said get it appraised.

I told him to paypal me the money and Id get it done lol
