How do people rate ebay as a means of selling domain names?

I see a lot of names listed at very high prices but almost none ever get a single bid.

To my mind the value of transactions going through is often less than the listing fees.

What are your positive and negative experiences?

So where do you sell for a good price? And how does it take to shift domains?( I know that is a bit like the string question but approx).

eBay is alright for relatively low value domains.

Yup, I think it is excellent for off loading cheap names, but for higher value name, afternic.com or forums do much better.

do you find you sell domains better offloading in groups of 5 or individually?

I would think that someone looking to spend a relatively good bit of money for a domain would not think hmmm...lets see what is available on ebay I think that they would probably look at more reputable(DOMAIN) source. DON'T GET ME WRONG on ebay I have acquired some good stuff--- But thats just me--

It really depends on the names, but groups seem to appeal to ebay users looking for so-called bargain lots.
