Random Spike in Parking Revenue

Hey guys, I'm pretty curious as to how one of my domains at Afternic started earning consistent parking revenue starting this year.

I mean I have 50 domains listed there that are also on cash parking, and a couple have gained a couple clicks in the 3 months I've had my domains there. This domain had no clicks in Nov-Dec. Now I check a little over a week ago and all the sudden this domain had 155 uniques in one day. That as stayed consistent for almost 2 weeks now and I've gotten 17 clicks and at 600+ visitors for this month alone. It's consistent.

Would you say this domain is worth that traffic parked? Or are these possibly odd hack attempts? I host sites and I'm familiar with hack attempts and tampering, but I don't see why a parked site would receive "shady" visits.

I have better, more keyword rich, two word domains that get no clicks.

Just wanted to get everyones thoughts, any feedback is appreciated.

non technical reason and general reasons are listed below
1-starting 1st jan everyone makes a resolution to hit the gym...and continue till end.. so may be some thing related to that...
2- sometimes google algo changes and the indexed pages which u have receive more traffic.. or the backlinks which are there on other website receive more traffic which in turn drive more traffic to u..
3- sometimes bloggers/webmasters while writing a articles makes a typo and refer to your website
4- suddenly similar name website is started by someone having the similar name..


Conclusion. if you are really concerned... park it at DomainSponsor or ParkingCRew or Bodis they give good information about where the traffic is coming and what % of traffic..clicks or searches what % of keywords...etc...
