You people seem to know pretty well about domain selling. I am someone who just stepped into those shoes. And have many questions. I would love if someone could help me on that.
The questions are:
1) Which website is best for selling domain names and parking them? (I have heard different stories about Sedo, Flippa, GoDaddy, AfterNic.... and the list goes on and on....)
2) Do TLDs matter that much or its just the name that matters?
3) Do I need to put all the domains for auction for them to sell?
4) Also, how do I judge the right price for my domain?

I would really appreciate if you could help me out because I am feeling very pissed of with the confusion.

1. The platforms you mentioned are nice, but each is unique in its own way.
Try to know which type of domain names better sell at which place.
2. They matter IMO.
3. Not necessary, you can contact your potential buyers, or offers could come to you, or you could list them for sale on offer counter offer with or without BIN (buy it now) price or you could list them in auctions. So, many ways.
4. Look for similar domain name sales on namebio etc. and determine a reasonable price...
Hope this helps.

If you're just starting off then focus on:
1. Read Read Read before buying any domains. Good places to start are some of the blogs on domaining.com - esp: domainsherpa.com - great interviews
2. Focus on buying expired domains - there are free sites like namecatch.com / expiredomains.net to find good expired domains. Invest your money on a good domain.
- Namejet.com and Snapnames.com has good inventory. GoDaddy also has an average inventory but there's always a bidding war going on good names.
3. Make sure you don't add a bin when you list your domains for sale on various sites. Leave it as make offer.
4. Check out latest sales info from dnsaleprice.com / namebio.com to see how much domains are selling for. You don't want to be overpaying for a domain and not be able to sell with a profit.
5. Check UDRPSearch.com or Trademarkia.com before buying any domain. Check for existing trademarks. You don't want to buy a domain that was previously hit with a UDRP or has a pending UDRP.
