is there a site that I can go to and can find similar names to mine?
such as if I type pig.com and a list of similar names already registered like pinkpig.com , fatpig.com etc

I remember a site but i just dont know where it is.

if you go to godaddy.com and search for a domain, there is a note somewhere below on the page asking whether you want to see similar available names, an advanced search option too is available, it shows similar names with all major extns and status, available or not.

this will spin names from the name spinner similiar to what you enter, just enter the word and not the .com with it for other suggestions.
