IMO, .net is more valuable because it is appropriate for use by for-profit companies. .org is usually for non-profit (but not always).

It depends... Some names are perfect for a specific tld while some others are not. On the other hand .net is considered to be much better than .org
Perhaps if you give us more info e.g. what do you want to do with the name you are planning to register we might help you make the right decision

Yep, I'd have to second that. It all really depends on what domain name you wish to match with either extension.
