How good is it???

Please don't move this to the .mobi section of the Domain Name Discussion. I am very interested in getting a response to this survey including those domainers who aren't interested in .mobi domains at all. I am interested in getting an idea of how the domainer feel about the .mobi extension in contrast to the traditional 5 extensions .com, .net, .org, .info and .biz. For this survey I will assume the traditional rankings of these 5 domain extensions. (.org being more valuable than .info is starting to become controversial)

Here is my question:

How good is the .mobi domain extension?

Better than .com,.net,.org,.info and .biz
Better than .net,.org,.info and .biz
Better than .org,.info and .biz
Better than .info and .biz
Better than .biz
Worse than .com,.net,.org,.info and .biz

I did'nt buy any .mobi domains but I do see potential in the good one word ones.

From my limited knowledge I will say Better than .biz and .org and maybe equal to .info

Assuming they are good usefull keywords

I think .mobi has a good chance to definately be better than .org, and .biz, and maybe even with .net's and .info's. Of course, it will never beat .com's.

With the miliions,or even billions of cell phone users in the world, they will give .mobi a chance to be big. :kickass:

I just hope .mobi will be default ext. for mobile phone or when the user enter .com it will suggests .mobi then it will be a good good for .mobi
Why no put in .us?

Have a funny feeling with this ext to be honest.. I dont own any but am watching with interest.... I feel this extention will either prove lots wrong and be a big success or prove lots wrong and be a big failure....

But im not sure which one yet

.mobi's are ok... however they are not the greatest... i prefer .coms and .nets

I have not tried the .mobi for myself yet. Nonetheless, I would not rate it as better or worse than any of trhe other extensions mentioned. For now, it is equal. As time goes by, we will see how well .mobi sites do.
