domain Question: Girlfights Info

OK, Girlfights (info) is just about 20 days old and developed with 354 uniques, 474 visits, and 153 poplinks (mostly unrelated to girl fights). I've been getting an average of 8 clicks a day (adsense) and my affiliate links are getting traffic but no sales as yet.

My question is: what improvements can I make to the site, and should I leave it as is or change it to a more "respectable" site dealing in women in sports, entertainment, politics, etc?

What do you think the current value and potential value is? I know I have an idea but would like some feedback.. thanks!

You can add a flickr photos rotator available for free from their site with the keyword for girls fights.

You can see the implementation like I have done here http://www.wawl.info

Then you can add Youtube videos code and it will start displaying girlsfights videos on your site.

Hm, good idea on the Flickr, BUT.. I just went to Flickr and browsed using the girl fights keywords and you, as always, come up with alot of borderline, unrelated crap..

I used girl fights because it showed fewer results in Google so would be easier to rank.. thanks for the suggestion!

Anyone think it would be more profitable to steer away from this niche and maybe do something a little more mainstream with the domain?

Why not give the site a little bit more identity by installing a new theme? The current theme is the default theme which doesn't give the site much credit.

There are some nice free themes out there just take a look at these
themes which would be an instant improvement for the site.

I mean the eye has needs to you know

If you are worried about screwing things up with experementing i just found an article which descibes how you could go about this in a safe way.
Note: i have not tried this out and have not been able to read it fully through but it looks like a good guide at first glance.

BTW- I just saw that entering Girl Fights at MSN shows it's ranked #1 for those keywords already!

And you only have 3 backlinks showing that do not belong to the Namepros forum.
That's a pretty mighty good sign.

Start optimizing the snot out of it and it will definitely be #1 in no time :hehe:

When I think of girl fights, I'm not really thinking of wrestling or whatever, just some good old fashion hairpulling and trashtalking. There are videos of real girls fighting all over the net, maybe you'd be better off turning it into this type of site. I know they sell videos like this, so someone has to be watching them Kind of like a Break.com atmosphere, with JUST girls fighting...

Also, with Wordpress, I'm fairly certain there is an option in the admin panel to choose between different themes. Installing them is simple, you just copy the theme folder into the wp-content/themes directory and then activate them in the admin panel.. It only changes the display, not the content, so there shouldn't be any worries about screwing something up and you can always switch back to the default. At least this is how it is for WP Multi-User, but I've been told that WP actually has more features than the WPMU version.

Changed the theme.. want to find some stock boxing or wrestling photos.. how does it look now?

Still wondering what a developed value might be.. good traffic, daily Adsense clicks, decent Alexa and ranking well on MSN at least...

I think it's meant to do this, in order to display a brief summary of the post, but it might be a bit confusing for users. Not sure if theres anyway to get around that or not.
