Ok i see tons of domains i could buy off their marketplace..BUt

ALL the domains have these clause when you click to buy it

"1. I understand that my bid is a binding contract and that an $10.69 (COM), $10.69 (NET), $10.69 (ORG), $19.99 (CC), $7.99 (INFO), $14.99 (BIZ), $14.99 (NAME), $39.99 (TV), $19.99 (US), $14.99 (WS), $9.99 (MOBI) one-year renewal (from the end of the domain's previous registration period) plus 20-cent ICANN fee if applicable will be added to the bid, if successful...."

Does this mean if i buy a $5 domain(there are tons of ppl selling at this price), then it means ill end up paying $15 for the domain?

Some domains being sold for $5 expire december 2009, does that mean godaddy will charge me renewal fee come december 2009.. It says its a binding contract so is it possible for me to avoid being charged renewal fee?

Im confused. Help. Thanks

Hello. Its not "people" selling for $5 its Godaddy.com themselves, these are the domains that the previous owners for whatever reason never renewed. The ones that go thru the regular auction starting at $10 that dont get did on, get put in a $5 closeout auction, which is what you are looking at...to answer your questions, yes it is the $5 PLUS the reg fee, you can use a coupon like gdbb776, to get the reg fee down to $7.59
