:hi:

I have a question and I cannot find an answer...

Let's say, for example, that I have 5 domains and 1 hosting.

I would like to develop each domain and make a mini-website for each of them.

Is it possible to make these 5 websites (with their own domain) with my only one hosting or do I really need to take one hosting plan for each domain ?

If it is possible, will Google see each domain like a different website ?

I will very appreciate your help !

Depending what hosting plan you buy and from whom - yes, you can host multiple domains on the same plan. To the surfer they will look like completely different domains but on the hosting end, they'll feed out of the same allocated bandwidth pot.

Do you know if google will index each domain as a different website on a multi domain hosting plan ?

I use webmasters.com and they allow you up to 100 additional "add on" domains per account. You're bandwith and storage remain the same but as long as they are mini sites, you should be fine. I would ask your hosting company what they provide.

Thanks for the answer !

My hosting is at GoDaddy. I don't think that they provide this. Do they ?

I'm gonna look at webmasters.com

Oh yes. A last question.

I've looked at webmasters.com and it looks perfect !

Can I let my domains at GoDaddy and use them in my webmasters.com "add-on" hosting plan just by changing DNS ?

yes, you can use your godaddy domains there. You'll simply just change your nameservers at godaddy to the ones that Webmasters.com gives you. Let me know if you have any questions about them. Good luck!

if your hosting account supports add-on domains yes you can create multiple mini sites on different domains

but some strange things are there with addon domains :(

if u host siteA.com as main site and siteB.com siteC.com as addons

now siteA.com , siteB.com ,siteC.com works fine but

siteB.siteA.com also points siteB.com and siteA.com/siteB also points siteB.com

siteC.siteA.com also points siteC.com and siteA.com/siteC also points siteC.com

which are some type look ugly IMO

Yes so just buy enough space (size wise) however with 5 sites dont stoop to oversellerhosts.com types of plans.

If you do not need to separate cpanel accounts go with shared accounts: site5 or MMhosting (the ones I can recomend for shared accounts)

If you need to separate Cpanel accounts go with Hostgator or HostWW (the ones I can recomend for reseller accounts)

Absolutely no need to go for reseller accounts, if a hosting plan with multiple domain hosting can meet his heeds 100%.
MMhosting.com also offers free domains in their plans.

try Newport Pagnell Hosting They allow 5 domains on their np_startup package and 30 on their corporate and unlimited on their enterprise, which is the one I use. Been with them 3 years and have to say they are very good. Support tickets usually answered within minutes which is one place a lot of sites fall down.

Google indexing has nothing to do with the type of the hosting package you use, it may only be essential if you decide to interlink your sites and they all will be using one shared IP address. Webhostingbuzz.com I'm using offer multiple domain hosting, you may get dedicated IPs from them for seo purposes as well.

So just to give feedback, I subscribed a baby account at HostGator and I'm really glad about it !!

It's really wonderful. cPanel is easy to use. Support is excellent. Add-on domain system works great. Easy to install blogs and boards thanks to Fantastico. Many free templates.

Really, it rocks. :xf.love:
