The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com and it is loaded with good news. The last remaining sales from Moniker.com's live and silent auctions at the T.R.A.F.F.I.C West conference last month were finalized this week. A quartet of six-figure sales rode in on that wave, including one that ranks among the 10 biggest sales reported so far in 2007. At Afternic/BuyDomains we saw the biggest .us sale ever reported finalized at $75,000. That is also the biggest country code sale reported this year in any extension (topping the #2 .de domain by 50%).
The Global Contenders also enjoyed a big week with .mobi leading the way there. .Mobi, competing head to head with the long established .net and .org extensions, now has 6 of the year's 10 biggest non .com global TLD sales.
