I just purchased a domain and I have to give someone details so they can push the name to my account on GD. I thought I would need to just give my user ID but from reading GD it looks like I have to give all these details below?

First Name:
Last Name:
Address 1:
City:
State:
Zip:

Yeah. easiest way, give them your username & then give the link say to a domaintools page showing your whois for another domain, they can take details from here, or cut & paste.
always check whois after buying as some sellers are lazy & just put 111111111 etc for each entry
good luck

You can also give only give your GD email address if you don't want to share your personal details to the seller.

Then change your info personally once you got the domain.

It isn't a GD email - any email address will do.

If it's a push within Godaddy,
The email it's being transferred to has to be
the new registrants email that they have set
up their account with at godaddy.

The other whois info can be changed after push.

I have used 3 different email addresses within 1 account. I am fairly certain it is just a valid email that you are able to access so that you get the various codes, etc.

Only information required is the godaddy registered email.

Do you have the 3 emails forwarding to one main one?
The main one you originally used when setting up your
account at Godaddy?

If Godaddy doesn't recognise the email as one of their account holders,
it becomes a transfer...and not a free push!

here's a direct link for the info...

ok thanks everyone, I just gave them my email like mentioned.. Godaddy don't say anything about this on their website -- just about giving all your details as I posted in first message, It sure is a lot easier to just give your email over...
