Hi guys,

Do Godaddy have any time restrictions in pushing domains between GD accounts? For example Enom has 5 days time period between pushes.

The situation: if domain won by me in GD auction became mine yesterday, could I push it to another account today?

Thanks, Nick

As far as I remember, if the domain name you won is already in your account (not pending push), then there should be no problems with pushing it to another GoDaddy account. The time restriction applies only to transfers out of GoDaddy to another registrar.

I agree, internal transfers are completely seperate from transfers to other providers.

There are no time restrictions on GoDaddy pushes.

Like everyone said, you can push straightaway. But once it has been pushed the 60 day GD lock on transfers starts over, so a buyer can't get the name out of GD for 60 days after a push.

I can't see why this would not work, but out of curiosity has anyone done a double push at GD, ie push to someone who then in turn pushes to someone else? Actually it must work since it is what Sedo does.

You can push as many times as you like at GoDaddy. The 60 day hold is reset after each push.

Actually there is a way to circumvent the starting of the 60-day hold. That is if you push without changing the whois information. I've done that as a seller a couple of times, when requested. But mostly it has come back to bite me in the *ss.
