"punter" is a UK/Australian term for "gambler" or "bettor" so I'm hoping to rise some of the momentum from the sale of sportsbook.mobi and gamble.mobi.

It's currently on auction at Sedo with a low reserve:

From an American point of view, it has very little reseller value. If it has a strong meaning in other market (Australian/UK), it could be quite valuable as .mobi matures.

In any case, a sale is a sale, so good luck with the auction. Spread the word to potential end users and see if you can get the price moving.

I believe "punter" in the UK means also something else...

That could be a nice name, related to the adult world, and worth something, if developed.

Punter is a good word for someone who uses the bookmakers or bookies, and has many other uses too! Wouldn't like to hazard a guess at it's value but i think i'd be happy to pay at least mid $xxx high $xxx for it!
