Punboard - Design Review [WIP][Rep+]

My latest project – a Punbb host. The design is required to be basic and easy to navigate, the two main buttons placed on the decorative background strip along the centre of the screen are the ‘features’ button and the ‘create a board button’. This is a first draft so I will be adding more things such as links to the support forums and things. I will update this topic when I’ve made some improvements.

I’d appreciate any constructive criticism you can give me to improve the design.

Included below is a coming soon splash page and a main design. Rate accordingly.

Looks nice, however, i'm not too keen on the blue, seems abit too bright.

Maybe darken the blue and it'll look great!

it looks very nice.
You don't have to change the blue imo maybe add a littl shadow effect to make it stand out.

There is a slight light purple drop shadow which makes it stand out slightly, may have to enhance that a little bit.
