Hi guys,

* edit * - i think actually i'm having some sort of low content penalty by the big G, not PSA's after all?

I've had no revenue for the past few days. I thought i had PSA's on all my sites - but i was using a proxy to view, which made them seem like PSA's.

so, whatever it is, no clicks.

if anyone can give me any advice from my troubleshootin gbelow, i'd be forever advertisement grateful!

Anyone else have this issue? or clues?

I checked and my sites shows normal ads as usual. Also I checked sites on your signature and AdSense ads seems fine in them.

Did you got your pin on your address and you entered it in your account?? I think so PSA's just come when your pin time required exceeds .. You must contact google if its something else

another strange clue - normal ads appear when i look from australia, but by using a proxy i can see they are all PSA's in the USA.



any similar occurrences or clues?

they were off again today. and you know what, i completely forgot about my pin, i thought it was only used for payment stuff.

time to track down that envelope!

Ok, recording the process in case anyone else has been there. and for future folks searching the posts!

- i added my PIN.

- did the troubleshooting guide. realized the main problem is on a site with images (duh) as content, not text. so probably google has been unable to find text to make ads.

- then i realize i've been checking through a proxy to see a "US" view, but this proxy turns ALL adsense into public service ads. which makes sense because you wouldn't want people to click. so i haven't had PSA's all along, just no revenue.

So here's my fear:

- google were showing real ads but penalizing me for lack of "content". i've fixed the error, and now cross my fingers that all will be forgiven - when the text gets indexed

Its something real strange but hope it will be fine now .. Just let us know what happened after that, i think so this one is really exceptional for me

There can be few reasons for PSA to display in your site. For example, if the content in your site is not much, then ads will not be targeted. Also, if the site is a new one, then it may take some time before targeted ads starts to display.

I suggest you do Section Targeting, that will help to display targeted ads in your site.
