Public request for SEDO to PAY me!

Hello,

This is a public request for SEDO to send payment for a transaction that I have concluded on January 30th. I have then pushed the domain in question to their account and I have received an email the same day stating they are processing my payment.

I expected to receive payment the same day, January 30th because the buyer had already paid but today is February 4th and payment is not in my account yet.

So SEDO, stop holding my payment and send it already! Stop treating your buyers and sellers like crap! We've made you what you are and you don't deserve it! You are one of the worst companies I have dealt with and I take every opportunity to publicly state how crappy your service is! At the same time, I urge everyone who's experienced your crap to STOP USING SEDO service for domain parking!

And once again, PAY ME ALREADY! :yell:

Yes, they are busy earning interest on OUR money. I would like for someone at SEDO to make a public statement as to WHY they are delaying payments. They are currently doing it without justification.

Is your payment method via Bank Deposit or international bank deposit?

If it is there can be delays on the money transfer.

It would be great if everything in this world was instantaneous, however 4 days is not long to wait. They have to make sure the buyers funds have cleared and no charge backs will occur as well.

International money transfer only takes 48 hours... I am waiting a sedo payment for a domain I sold, I have lost track of how many days/weeks is has been now since godaddy said sedo now had my domain, they always pay that is for certain, but do they ever take their sweet time about it. It is ok if you are rich, unfortunately I am not rich and the money could really help me right now, got to pay for rego on my now unregistered car, in fact the money could have helped me early last week! If not late the week before

I am awaiting payment through PayPal. Once they have confirmed they have received payment, I assume the payment has cleared and that's SEDO's problem.

Waiting 4 days after they started to process my payment is not reasonable. What the heck are they processing there? How much time does it take to send a payment through PayPal?

And what about the other folks here who are waiting for their payment for weeks? SEDO, cut the crap and pay us already! You are becoming a shame for this industry!

I suggest not selling on TDNAM because if you think 5 days is long after 35 or so you'll be pulling your hair out.. lol

Best thing to do is call Sedo and ask to speak with your Transfer Agent and ask he/her to ask accounts to pay you simple.

Sedo has several difference ways that work to their advantage so that they can draw interest on your money. Unfortunately they are not the only companies doing business like this. Always be sure your payment instructions and payment account numbers are set-up exactly as they should be so that the delay can't be blamed on you. For instance a payment account number may be different for a direct deposit and a wire transfer.

I've already notified my Transfer Agent of my public request for them to PAY me. I've asked him to send payment without delay on January 31st but I haven't heard from him since.

I heard/read so much about the sedo problems (and here's another :eek)
I thought I'd try TDNAM - TSK TSK

My sale was Jan 13th, (buyer paid and I pushed
domain same day) and I'm still waiting!

You'd think they'd have this perfected by now!
Selling domains isin't a new thing!!!

Can you find anywhere on Sedo's site where they list how long it will be that they pay you after they receive payment from the buyer?

If I was Sedo, I might make 35 days wait a "standard" wait period to protect against fraud/chargebacks. Not saying they have, just offering my .02

If Sedo emailed the buyer and he or she has been gone for a couple days then, your four days is not Sedo's fault, as the buyer needs to respond to that email.

I am not up holding Sedo in all cases, but everytime I have emailed the dept for auction sales, I get a quick responce

If Escrow.com can do a transfer in several days then why can't Sedo or TDNAM or whoever ?

This is the electronic age - faxes, Net, telephones, faster banking procedures and yet, they can't make a payment?

They are holding your money hostage for the interest. They did millions of dollars in sales in 2007 and that is a lot of interest money they made.

They have always had a slimy way of doing business if you ask me.

sedo is real crap, I have moved my all domains from them.
they were paying me $0.01 per click, (is it possible?) I was making nothing, even after 6 months. but after moving from them, I am happy with Parked.com.

never got any offer from sedo, but always got offers, even everyday from others

Was that the point of my question? Do I overuse rhetorical devices? ;)

The point is whether or not everyone else does it, it is do you have a reasonable expectation that Sedo does/will/should/must.

Just look at the interest they make by sitting on our cash. Funny how an escrow.com deal can be done in a day.
