Please appraise - I will give rep to all appraisals

I just purchased this domain and am curious what you pros think it might be worth.

I was thinking that it could be used for a diet plan like low carb or a bodybuilding/mass gaining site for men. Also could be used as a protein information review site or shop.

The words just fit together in my mind like proteinpoints as in a assigned value system like diet, or proteinpoints as in tips and info on protein.

I have asked for appraisals in this forum and gotten no response, hopefully you all can give me a clue on this. I listed with Sedo and would not like to take an offer below it's worth.

Thanks in advance for your time,
Soap

Anybody want to take a shot at this? This will be my 3rd time asking for an appraisal and not getting much of a response.

I will gladly give rep!

Sorry don't see immediate value in this one, if you are willing to hold it for another 5 years, it could be different story. "Protein points" is a bio tech/chem term, not very popular right now.

Really? No value?

I bought it sort of hoping that someone would come up with a diet plan with the same name and buy it from me at some insane price, but I understand that the odds of that happening are pretty slim :)

But...the protein nutrition market is fairly enormous and I figured the word combination sounded really nice together, not to mention the relevance of the phrase. I would think that it would have some value above reg fee.

Am I wrong?

Protein points is not a very common term. There are only 665 exact google results for it. I would say regfee.

Well I wasn't really looking for an OVT appraisal, I could find out that information fairly easily myself. I was hoping for an evaluation of the name as a whole.

In this case I suggest
ProteinSlim all extensions available :)

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, but what is 'an evaluation of the name as a whole'? If you mean whether it is brandable, I would say isn't any name brandable (think about google, yahoo, etc.).
For the time being protein points does not mean much to people, as can be concluded from the number of Google results.
Of course, I hope that you can find an end-user who is willing to pay you a nice sum for it.

Hi Soap Taco !
REG FEE appraisals might really hurts you But thats true , Unless You develop some unique content & traffic. I suggest you to create a minisite regarding Proteins . have some PPC ads &/or Affiliate programs.
Wait for some more time.

Wow, I must have sounded crushed :). I understand exactly what both of you are saying, I am not new to this.

Brandability is exactly what I was speaking of when I brought this to the appraisal table. Maybe I should have clarified that I was not looking for stats but an actual human evaluation.

Obviously anything is brandable, but when dealing with two content relevant english words unlike Yahoo or Google you deal with levels of brandability. The brandability and value of dietpills.com and skinnycapsules.com is going to be substantially different.

Protein itself gets 48,000 searches according to OVT. Protein bars and shakes can be purchased at nearly every convenience store in the US. Protein is the major food group in the low carb dieting craze and sites based solely around protein are very few.

To clarify: I am looking for an appraisal of a two relevant complimentary common english word domain name for a niche market. If reg. fee is all it's worth than I am not out any money because that's all I paid :) I do plan on developing it.
