I have spent a considerable amount of time looking how to do these 2 tasks in my Alibaba Domain Console:
1. Turn Whois Privacy OFF (this is required because I am trying to transfer a domain out to One.com and they are not so good with transferring real registrant info).
2. Turn auto-renew OFF on all of my domains in my Alibaba Domain account.
I raised a ticket with them over 24 hours ago but they keep telling me to wait. Their last response was about 10 hours ago and says the following:
"Dear Alibaba Cloud Customer, We are sorry for this issue taking longer than expected. Our backend team is currently working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. We will keep you updated when there is any progress. Thanks for your understanding and patience. Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance. Best Regards, Alibaba Cloud International Support"
I don't understand what "issue" they are talking about? There is no issue! I am just looking for step by step on how to do this! I even went on live chat with them and the customer service person Becky copied and pasted a clearly AI-generated response with very generic steps about how it may be in general with registrars. When I told her those are not the steps for Alibaba Cloud, she says she is pre-sales and I should raise the ticket.
Anyone out there knows how to action these 2 items in Alibaba Cloud? Thank you.
