Problem with PAYPAL - Urgent

i just got payment and after clicking ACCEPT then im getting in next window request to enter my credit card info (although i got 2 credit card in system)...
after clicking next then im getting a request to enter my bank account info (from usa) including routing (that is on the check)....

the problem is that i live in israel and i dont have a bank account in usa

does anyone knows what to do now ?!@

Make sure it is actually www.Paypal.com, and not some scam. If is is an email, forget it, and go to the actual website. May be fake making you think you got a payment. Wehnever I recieve a payment on Paypal, the email just tells me I have received payment, I never have to click on anything to accept.

Yeh, and if you entered you find out it was a false address report it to paypal. And from what you have said, I think you may have already entered your credit card details on that site, so if it is fake, id be very worried, and be ringing my credit card company up right now.

its not a scam or something like that

im verified paypal member and yet they are making it gard to be a client.
im paypal member for about 6 years.
i dont understand why i cant accept payments without entering a bank account
(which i dont have coze im not usa citizen)

Are you trying to deposit the paypal funds into your bank account? That's the only way I can think of that they would want that info. No idea why they want a USA bank account because mine works fine and I live in Canada.

The funds from a buyer should just appear in your account and stay there until you buy something else with paypal.

its bit complicated to explain so i made printscreen:

i called international call to paypal offices and they told me to insert my local bank...... i wasted 20 min !!!
and the problem is that israel isnt one of the countried that able to insert their local bank in paypal system and i told it to the guy on the line but he said to me that this is the only option.......
i think they are really all monkies there or something like in the photo attch above...


i really dont know what to do and all payment that i got from my domains is stuck (although its only 150$) but i need this money soon or it will be self canceled...

any ideas ?

I am in exactly in the same situation as you: it requires to add a US Bank account when I accept a payment; the button "Accept payment but don't add an account later" disappeared.

According to them, every one should have an account in the USA :D

This happened between the 5th and the 10th of May and I opened a support case where they answered:

I have reviewed your account and I cannot see any objective reason why you should not be able to accept the payment that was sent to you...

[...]

It might be also a technical problems due to updates in our system.

[...]

I have forwarded your email to the relevant department where they will be able to look into it for you. We will be in contact with you soon.

We appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter, and wish you continued success on PayPal.

PS: They should learn about IBAN :p

You can send or receive money but you can't withdraw it to your bank without a US bank account. Only these countries can:

If you are from any of the countries listed below you can send and receive payments but you can not transfer the money from paypal to your bank account.

The solution is very simple. You keep the money in your paypal and you spend it.

For the moment you may have no other choice than requesting an alternate payment method from your client.

I would suggest that you open an Bank account in a country that paypal does accept local bank accounts. (US is probably the most universal)

I believe ETrade.com will open a brokerage account with a photocopied passport for ID. (See: Foreign Accounts )

paypal says it is about technical issues bla bla bla. i searched for it and read many posts that they give the same answer to all, for 1 month. now i know why there is a website called pay pal sucks dot com

Paypal does have a lot of weird issues, but most of them deal with countries that are "questionable"... I don't know how to explain that other than that Paypal has probably seen a lot of fraudulent transactions originating from those countries and decided that the cost of doing business with those countries is not worth it. Thus they either block entire countries or require you to jump through hoops to make it as safe and legitimate as possible for them to do business with you.

From a customer standpoint, it does suck, but at the same time, if Paypal kept eating losses from fraud, we'd probably see the fees jump through the roof to compensate those losses. And I for one don't want to pay higher fees due to some fraudsters in some far off country.
