GoDaddy & PayPal

I was planning on regging 2 .info names through Paypal using existing funds which comes up to $2.38. When I click on Paypal then Checkout & log into Paypal, I get a screen "Add New Credit Card or Debit Card".

This has never happened before unless I didn't have enough funds to pay with an account balance. I have $5.01 in my Paypal account. Why is Paypal asking me to add a new card when I'm paying with an account balance?

Are you verified? I think GoDaddy only accepts payments from verified PayPal accounts.

No, you don't have to be verified... With godaddy though your paypal HAS to be linked to a credit card or debit card... i remember I had the same problem. I was verified via bank, and they didn't care. They said i had to add my card or they wouldn't accept it

Mine's verified with a bank account only. The strange thing is that I have used that Paypal account many times before with Godaddy & never had that problem when I had funds in Paypal.

Guess I'll just email them directly & find out the official answer.
