It's intriguing to hear that Elon Musk has mentioned the possibility of exploring smartphone production, especially considering the potential scenario of Twitter being banned from app stores. Elon Musk has a reputation for innovative thinking and pushing boundaries, so it's not entirely surprising that he would consider alternative avenues for communication.

However, it's important to approach these comments with a level of caution and consider them as speculative for now. The smartphone market is highly competitive and demanding, requiring substantial resources and expertise to succeed. While Musk's interest in entering the smartphone arena is fascinating, it remains to be seen if it will translate into concrete plans and tangible products.

As with any news related to Elon Musk and Tesla, it's always best to await official announcements or further developments before drawing conclusions. The intersection of technology, communication, and potential integration with Tesla's ecosystem makes this topic intriguing, and we can eagerly follow any future updates regarding this potential venture.

Totally agree.

It would make sense, if his phones could make internet connection via starlink;
that would be a gadget, that no one can provide.

But other than that, phones nowadays are extremely competitive and 'cheap', for what they can do.

However, this design with a Tesla Logo on the back could easily become a bestseller, I could imagine....

The idea of Elon Musk's phones being able to make internet connections via Starlink is indeed fascinating and innovative. If such a feature were to be implemented, it would truly be a groundbreaking gadget that no other phone could provide.

Leveraging the power of Starlink's satellite internet connectivity could potentially revolutionize the way we use smartphones, especially in areas with limited or unreliable traditional internet infrastructure.

You're right about the current smartphone market being highly competitive, with devices offering impressive capabilities at affordable prices.

The advancements in technology have made smartphones versatile tools that encompass a wide range of functions beyond just communication. They have become integral to our daily lives, enabling us to access information, connect with others, and perform various tasks efficiently.

Considering the popularity and recognition of the Tesla brand, a smartphone with a Tesla logo on the back could indeed attract a significant number of enthusiasts and fans. The association with Tesla's innovative and futuristic image could make it a sought-after device among consumers who appreciate the brand and its values.

While the Elon Musk Pi Phone remains speculative at this point, it's exciting to imagine the possibilities and potential impact it could have if it were to be introduced. In the meantime, exploring the current market offerings and finding a smartphone that meets your specific needs as a developer is a sensible approach.
