While I haven't made a lot, I have made a few "private" domain sales vs. sales made at Afternic and Epik, and I was wondering to who sales might be reported as long as my clients approved? Namebio? Thanks

Believe it or not .. congrats on the sales! I can think of 3 places to report sales:

IMPORTANT:

The one important thing to keep in mind is that all 3 of those are to report transactions of just domains alone. It does not count as a "domain sale" at the total price if there is also a website or partnership or business development component, because there would only obviously be an unknown portion of the sales amount attributed to the value of the actual domain, as opposed to the full amount. If that is the case, then you would need to declare that clearly to the venue in question to see if it can be reported and how.

Are there any restrictions for reporting?
We are only accepting reports of sales $100+. There are no limits regarding the date of the sale, we are interested in the data no matter how old it is. Please search first to make sure we don't already have the sale though.

What kind of proof is needed?
A screenshot showing the domain, price, and date. This could be from Escrow.com, Sedo, DAN, Epik, PayPal, or whatever you used to close the transaction. You can black out the contact details of the other party, but please do not remove transaction ID numbers or similar. If you closed the transaction with a direct bank transfer, we would need to see the deposit from your bank, and also the email negotiations that led to the sale.

Can I report payment plans?
Only if all payments have been made and the domain has been transferred.

You'll need to contact Ron directly to report a sale: http://www.dnjournal.com/aboutus.htm.
Here is how he verifies them http://www.dnjournal.com/sales-verification.htm.
Based on last week's report, I think he only publishes sales of $2,000 and above.
