Print Advertising:Reality Behind it...

Hey i was thinking of starting a hosting and domain site and would accept payment in local currency in cash...for that i was thinking of giving ads in newspapers and magazines, has anyone done print advertising? is it of any good? i mean will ti be better than adwords or something like that

Print advertising CAN be very expensive for little or no return, especially when it comes to an internet only business.

Word of mouth is always the best advertising :hehe:

the only real thing ive seen do good in newspapers is garage sales, and some want ads.

magazines would depends on the type, and how many people see it.

Being featured in an article will drive more traffic that a huge ad in the same magazine.

I think the ROI of print advertising in the form of ads in newspapers and magazines for a hosting and domain site would be very less unless a newspaper column or magazine is somewhat relevant to the type of your business.
