I've had multiple communications with the owner of BRA.com over the last 24 hours, with the most recent being just a few minutes ago. He's a very nice person by the way, who informed me that he's owned the domain for approx 3 years, and did not pay anywhere near $500,000 for it back then. He does not know the history of the name before he acquired it, but all indications suggest that it never sold for that amount.
