I purchased Bidzi.com in an expiring auction on Godaddy a few months ago. The domain is now in auction on Flippa - Here. There is a flippa user who is claiming they are the rightful owner of the domain bidzi.com and that i stole the domain LOL. Please feel free to take a look at their accusations.

I have had many people in the past try and say that they own the domain and i should give it to them...hahaha... People seem to disregard the emails from their registrar indicating their domains are going to expire, when they do expire and get picked up by someone else, they try everything to get it back, including threatening legal action...

I would pm Kevin Fink @FlippaDomains and tell him to get on that, that's ridiculous.

Many people lose it, they don't understand the whole domain system, I regged it once I own it forever, or what do you mean it expired ? No one told me. You are going to make me fire employees and lose my home, etc...

Sometimes the new owner is cool and says ok, I paid $600 in auction, send me the $600 and I will push the name to you, don't want you losing your business or losing your home. The old owner says no way to paying the $600, they want the name for $10. It is like wait I am being more than cool helping you but I am not paying for your error.

Well they are picking the worst way to get the domain back. Purchase price goes up when they attack.

I suppose that person isn't a domainer. so he don't know why the domain is expired..
so let's him try everything to get back that domain until he realised that he should to buy from you at the end.

True and if you publicly accuse someone of theft, when it is not true in any way, that is a potential legal situation. People don't think.

Guess if they want it back bad enough regardless he can pay the price. That's the name of the game really if he let it go his mistake.

There's nothing we could do, it's a matter between the two of you.

That said, and this goes for anyone:

While we don't aim to censor, if someone is messing with you, spamming your listing with their auction links or is completely off topic, you can request Admin removal of their comment via [email protected]

Please don't abuse this request, however.

Also, the comments box has been retweaked a bit -- check it out.

Can't the seller still delete comments from others?

And this is another reason I don't use flippa.

Doesnt look like hes doing much. He even said it was possibly GD's fault. I just keep pushing him to GD and paint yourself as the good cop, GD is the bad cop. Of course you are in the right, but I would imagine he'd leave you alone. I remember you had an offer for this of like $10K and turned it down or something?

Hmm, 4 or 5 months ago, there was a person contacted me to get a domain back free of charge because he was a legal owner since 1999. I got it from Godaddy expired domain auction also

I would not turn down that type of an offer :)

Yeah I thought it was weird too. I own biddzy and so I was interested. Clearly, I didn't remember it correctly.

Not sure what makes you think that I was offering that? I was simply commenting that I remembered you had a good offer before, and was surprised you turned it down at the time. My only interest is in owning a very similar name and wanting to see you get all you can for your version. Good luck.

Thanks. And yes I should not have turned down that offer, I got the offer literally 2 days after acquiring the domain. I saw more value in it. Now would likely sell for far less as I'm cleaning up my portfolio.
