With all the generic keyword type domains you've gathered, what made you choose Boing?

That is a great question.

I don't own any generic term that's approprate for a wide ranging mobile web surfing. If I owned search.mobi, I would absolutely use this keyword.

More importantly, I do believe in the power of branding. Even though I've spent some $... er... some $$$,$$$ on MOBI keywords, I believe a very powerful statement comes in simple, easy to remember, to the point brand.

I chose the term BOING because I believe I can develop a brand around a very simple term. My goal is to make the "I" in BOING animated and iconic... alive.

I don't care for .mobi but I will give credit where credit is due. The web page validates strict and looks good. Congratulations on the hard work coming together.

I'd view it on my cell but it costs $400 a minute to access the net.

I'm so happy that MOBI has come around. More than anything, it has my entrepreneurial juices flowing.

This is why I'm up at 2:00AM while visiting family rather than preparing for a turkey meal.

Just thought I should point out that the hover text on the main page doesn't correspond to what the link below is. For example, hover over "News" and you get "About Us"...

Otherwise, great execution...I look forward to being able to submit a few sites to it myself...

I have submitted some updates to the head of tech for boing.mobi to include dir.mobi and a host of other stuff.

I'll tell you how good the PR works out.

I submitted both of my sites dir.mobi and eIndia.mobi and they only listed eIndia.mobi so far in the showcase. I have send them e-mail about dir.mobi and I am still waiting. Anyway, PM me if you need the e-mail address.

BTW, I see you have already listed eIndia.mobi at boing.mobi. Thanks for that. Let me know how the PR thing goes, I would be interested in that as well.

First mover advantage is always key when entering a market. Think yahoo! The nice thing is you don't have to look "slick" yet. Remember when Yahoo first came out? Google came to the game later, but was the "first mover" when talking about sites that did something without any adverts.

One other thing to think about to get those entrepreneurial juices flowing even more would be to link to an Asian version of BOING. You could have links at the bottom of the homepage, to go to the CHINESE, JAPANESE, SOUTH KOREAN versions. Since they use the mobile device in greater numbers you could extend your brand even farther.

SO go BIG, GO LONG and ABOVE ALL Keep that Passion you have.
