.tv Premium Renewal Fee?

I really am starting to dig this extension as i think it is obvious to anyone with half a brain that the union of computer/tv is here to stay and will only get stronger as time moves on.

Noob question here, but how are the premium renewals figured on a .tv?

From what i've been able to gather - certain names have a hefty renewal fee. It's still a bit unclear to me how this is determined?

welcome to .tv , many here are still unsure who is the person/s who put the price as a premium name ?? either verisign or demand media make this decision , keep your eye on this post and you will get more answers on this subject , many of the great names were regged years ago for normal fee , you can go to ahead.tv to see some of the prices put on names

not all names are premium and carry those costs- first, the only place you can reg a premium is at enom, so if you can reg a name like at godaddy, it is regular renewal costs-
enom lists premiums they have left for sale on their site and the rule is- if you reg it, and dont let it drop, the renewal will remain the same. if you buy after market, usually just asking the owner the renewal cost will let you know, or like it was stated, you can aslo check ahead.tv-
you dont have to buy a "premium" name to make money tho-
but verisign determines the renewal prices, and yes they can go up or down-

You're not the only one that's confused, I think we're all very confused as to how some names have got a price tag that are just way out there in terms of renewals! For some names, they are just hoping that the appropriate enduser comes along with deep pockets & pay the prices that they want for it.
