How can you find out the price of renewal fees for a .tv I have recently bought a .tv name via auction, but don't know whether the renewal fees will be premium or not.

I have also heard of someone that had his expected fees increased after the bid. I am worried that I could have bought a name for a bargain to be left with a $1000 reg fee!

I don't think there is a way to find out now.

If the name is registered at Enom there is no way of knowing unless you ask them.

If it is registered at GoDaddy or any other registrar I think it is normal reg fee as they don't sell premium names.

Then you really have nothing to worry about if it's reg at GD. :)

reg at godaddy means it is not one of the "premium" names.

When I try to renew my .TV in godaddy it will cost me close to $40 so I transfer them to NeedName.com for $23.95 only.

All you have to do is unlock your .TV name then submit a transfer request from your NeedName.com account.

Hope this help.

The domain was bullion.tv. Its a nice quality one word .tv which I think has a lot of potential in many ways.

Thanks for everyones help. Do you think I have wasted my money now, or is it worth something. I definitely rate it highly.

This begs the question, wil enom change the status of the name once you have bought it?? Meaning, if I purchased it as a non-premium, but at renewal they price it at a premium status?? Because if that is the case, I have alot of transferring to do.

I believe non-premium .TV will stay the same. After the promotion period end of december 2007, the register/renewal for non-premium .TV will go back to their original price $39.95 per year. But I'm sure reseller will provide lower as usual.

Hope this help.

NeedName.com currently offer $23.95/yr. registration and renewal for .TV. And always cheaper compare to Enom or any resellers out there. We are in the business since early 2000 as Enom Technology Partners (ETP) and hundred of domains managed by our resellers.

send me pm if you have other question.

Cheers,
Em
