.tv Premium release dates?

I just looked on Enom and now when you type in a premium such as business.tv
It says will be available spring 2007.
Now this has gone from Q1 TO Q2 TO Spring 2007, now i appreciate spring 2007 would suggest April or May time, but why the hell are they being so vague? surely it would be courtesy to let people know when this will be specificly happening.
I wrote an email asking why there was no exact date for release,so i will let you know if and when i get a response.

Many people on this board have put a lot of time and money into .TV and during that time Enom have been sneaking around premiumising ( new word!) .TVs that were previously reg fee eg Blah.TV and Speakout.TV are now somehow premium $500 per year names and not giving us any specifics as to release dates.
I just feel as if it is now getting rather ridiculous and someone should let us know exactly when the names are going to be released and how they are going to decide who will get the premiums.

Ridiculous is right. The end of spring (summer begins June 21, 2007) will mark six months since their takeover. Totally shady, IMO.

I can't get a response to a technical support question, and it's preventing me from renewing one of my domains. I tried to add the domain to my cart (they also upped it from a standard reg to a premium, which is unprecedented as far as I know), and it says "Contact customer service to renew this domain." It's been a week now and no response. Anyone know how to get through to them?

I'm sick of the corporate culture of lousy customer service! Maybe shave the CEO's salary by a few mil and hire some people, you greedy little mongrels!

And everyone was thinking that qdaly was just telling us the same stuff over and over again.....we should have read what she had to say carefully, she was in fact telling us to forget first quarter/second quarter and now the joke is on for Spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With one human employed by DM to post on Namepros once every three months worthless lies about when DM will meet its obligations to manage .TV as a credible organisation, I am thinking that it is more than the CEO's salary that needs shaving off....................

I received a response from them today, i have pasted both my email and their response below, same old standard company response.
They say " They may actually not come on market until some time in the 2nd quarter of 2007 "
No Sh*t Sherlock!, i hardly expected them to be released in the 3 days we have left of Q1.
They can't even be bothered to personally respond and send an standard email to try to appease me, absolute CRAP!.




Do you have a specific date for release of premium domains?, it appears that you keep putting them back first it was quarter 1,which has now gone,then it was q2,now it says spring?i think an exact date for the release of these names is now due.

I know many many people involved in dot tv are starting to get frustrated at a lack of specifics from yourselves and we would appreciate a specific date.

I'm sorry but there is not an exact release date for premium .TV domains. They may actually not come on market until some time in the 2nd quarter of 2007 as we're having to build a whole sales system to accomodate them.

If you have a name you are interested in, please use the check a name function on http://www.eNom.tv and complete the form. Those that have will receive notification via email as soon as the services launch

You purchased a .tv name at normal reg, now your trying to renew it, and they have switched it to premium fee's?
