Although it could be a typo, it doesn't appear to be a very popular one (28.5 million results on Google for "whois" and 5720 for "whoiz" - that's 0.02%). Even in those cases, most of them don't appear to be typos, but intentional.
The domain should not have value above reg. fee (probably less, but I don't know how cheap .asia is). At best, you might get a tiny amount of traffic. In a worse case, DotAsia might not be too happy if it appears, as you have already stated, that it is intended as a typo of their domain.
