what kind of tld do you think the future holds for us??

.HDTV?

.HOT?
.MS?

Would companies be able to BUY their own TLD.?
Any more ideas??

.ca is not as good as .us and yet is more expensive.

I think .web or .travel like someone said have the best chances of getting more popular, but does anyone know what the domain counts for the past 12-Months are for every TLD? That way we can track if any tlds are gaining popularity.

.us is old news. At GoDaddy you can reg it for less than 5$ :)
Because of that, i think that almost all good names in .us are taken already.
And, there are some UDRP cases (like willsmith.us) so this prooves its quite filled.
Try your luck at .eu :)

PS: I dont think .inc will come, because .int already exists, and that would be too similar, so... More probably .corp (but not earlier than 2010).

That's exactly my point.
A TLD goes higher in value when it's at low prices.
Hosting.us is probably worth a lot thanks to this.

All depends on a speed of filling DN space.
Faster the filling, more gTLD to come .
