PR update in process

Google PR update is in progress.

One of my site went to PR 3 from PR 2.

Some are still same some are moving up.

I find it makes a quick way to judge the probable quality of a website; either to decide if you could beat it, or if it's worth looking at. That said, the update sure used to cause more of an uproar. I think I see why WordPress is such a popular platform. I put up a few WP sites with the Thesis theme and it seems like they are doing better than I would have expected.

Google updated the PR on New Year's first day

For me, PR of just few internal pages got changed.

it sucks i worked sometime on it.

You lose PR when you lose backlinks (or get deindexed).
You might lose backlinks when people see a packed page (they remove the backlink from their site)
I have some PR4 parked pages (dropped domains-old backlinks) that are over one year old so the parking itself does not mean you'll lose PR.

Yes as expected PR finally updated once again on 31st Dec and I have good updates as I got 2 PR4 from PR0 while 5 PR2 Site goes to PR3 and one PR1 Goes to PR5. While 3 of PR4 Blog drop to PR3 but overall good updates for me!
