Has anyones .mobis got page ranking yet?

I just by chance entered my jpy .mobi into the browser to see if any more updates had been done to it by my deveopler and i saw PR2 for jpy .mobi and PR3 for www.jpy .mobi. I was very surprised to see this i think maybe the previous owner may have been the one to do this but has anyone else got some??

Your stats show a perfect example of the need to have the jpy.mobi resolve to www.jpy.mobi, or vice versa. To Google, these are 2 different sites with identical content. Do a Google search on the following for more info.

- forward the non-www to www
- 301 redirect non-www
- 301 redirect

I think it's better to resolve the www. to the non-www.

www. is unnecessary to begin with, and it's a good idea if mobile phone users lose this habit (which they probably will).

You are right that the www is unnecessary, but I have heard that some search engines prefer it, namely yahoo. Unfortunately I have no way to confirm it. I agree that it would be great to have it completely go away.
