IPL Cricket Forum was launched during the last IPL session and the site gained huge popularity during the IPL session. The site is built on Phpbb last stable version with excellent performing mods like prediction game (can be configured for any tournaments), Quiz Game, Cash Mod - for points system - both quiz and posting help members accumulate points (runs) and then use this to buy merchandise. The site has about 2000 members and with IPL second session in April the site is well poised to make it big in traffic. A provision is there for Live score and commentary for any cricket tournament in association with Cricbuzz. Many extra html pages to post scores, results etc.
The site also has an album integrated alongwith facility for members to post youtube video and a games section to play flash games.
The site has a news section in wordpress which is totally integrated and is enlisted with google news - any news posted shows up in google cricket section within a few minutes as the sitemap is generated automatically after upddate and submitted to google.
The revenue is low as the objective of the site was not revenue focussed. The site require about one hour time everyday to update contents
The site is sold as I do not have time to monitor and manage the site anymore and will be sold on as-is-where-is basis with basic info and guidance.
The site is a PR-3 site with other PR-3/2 pages inside. About 3400 pages are indexed for the main site and 1600 pages for the news site with Google. The Google Cache is current with automated sitemap submission every night.
