So will it show up in some sort of stat somewhere in the side bar? I seen forums that use this sort of system and they usually have so and so has been thanked so many times - or something like that. You're the second person I've liked and thanked so far.

I like that good posters will see the appreciation for said good posts. :)

I hope the rep bar stays though. :D

What about if it was next to the blue quote reply button on the left.

Nah...looks okay the way it is atm. Didn't like it in the side bar where it first was though. That looked kind of awkward. Looked even funnier directly under the post as well. The extra box at the bottom under the post looks fine though and I have seen that on numerous forums - so I guess I am used to seeing it like that. :)

Edit: It actually doesn't look half bad the way it is this very moment actually, which is a bit of a back flip on my part...but hey. LOL..it changed again.

LOL...you should take screen shots of the different set-ups and let the people vote RJ

Under where it is looks like a good placement but maybe remove the double black line so its a single black line.

yeah, that dark black line bugs me and so does the extra blank line above happy face.

Hard to make my mind up - it keeps changing so much...lol. Regardless of what you decide, I think it is a nice addition. :)

Thanks for the instant feedback while I was testing. I'm done editing for the moment. :)

This is for the discussion forums only. I didn't see much purpose for it in the marketplace (except Design Contests where a Like button is very appropriate!)

Yeah, I could see some people abusing it in that section.

I like this feature, I've already put it to good use but it still seems out of place to me though imo.

I see the corey fan club has disliked my post, I dislike your dislike.

This is the MOST un-thought out and Point-less Feature ever been added to this forum.
Anyone that dislikes a person can dislike a post just to be malicicous.

Typical response , the feature is about dis-liking the CONTENT of the POST, Not about who made the post.
Why do you make everything so goddamn Personal.
