The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Where does the link actually point to when you hover your mouse over it ?

Goes to one of two places:
One is a phishing site.
Or one is the godaddy site.
Weird.

JUST BE CAREFUL.

Keep in mind Go daddy never "blocked" my account as it says they did in the initial message

I clicked your link.
I goes to a site mydietmode.com
It's a phishing attempt. It shows like the GD login page.
Google gave me a big red warning.

I got the same email this week. The anchor text on the links is a trick - the URL it actually directs to is a fake phishing website to get your login details.

The silver lining is that you have domain names worth stealing :)

A smart person would do this:
Get an email from godaddy, paypal, ebay, whatever?
Do not click on links in the email, but rather go to the site directly from your browser.

•••
If one of these scam emails does make it past my junk filter?
I just add it to my junk file.
Thus, never again seeing a scam email using the same email address, etc.

The Baron hit the nail on the head. There's also always at least one typo in these types of e-mails that professional companies like GoDaddy or PayPal just wouldn't make.
