I had posted this question yesterday on the marketing section..no responses, thought maybe was wrong place, so posing it here...please direct me if wrong...I have censuspoll.com, populationcount.com and popcount.com. Not really great names I know, but am wandering if anyone has any ideas for other uses for popcount.com...seems like that one could be used for something other than a short version of population count.

Hmm... Well you could always make it like a pop music scene type of site, hence the
"pop count". I'm not sure really. Those are good census sites, if you like to run that type of website.

yes, true..I see the relation......I was also thinking maybe something in line with -POP as in Post Office Protocol..relating to email service or Point of presence...or maybe name for something like a web traffic counter..key word search directory, etc...any thoughts on those ideas?

What about popup. If you hear pop then you'll be reminded with term popup.

Lots of popup blockers have a count of all the popups that have been blocked, so it could be a site for a popup blocker.

Actually I think this is the best idea so far. You could make it a POP email web listing, or a database for people to list their POP email services. You can rank them, and so forth. Your slogan could even be something like:

"1461 POP Emails and Counting!!" IE: 1461 is the amount of POP email services that people have submited to the site, and counting, means that more are coming every day. Just a few ideas.
