Hi all, just yesterday I contacted as many casino site admin contacts I could find via whois regarding selling my domain "casino25.com".

I've already had 2 responses asking me roughly how much i'm looking for. Trouble is, I have no idea on what price to start with as I dont want to scare them away or on the other hand sell myself short. Any quick advice on a ballpark figure? (the 2 responses are from MAJOR online casino businesses).

Casino24.com sold for $11,224 on Dec. 2008 at Sedo.
However, you can not compare 24 and 25.

Does 25 have any special meaning?

Bottom line, only you'll know what amount you'll be happy with ;)

just ask for the price you feel is right and see what happens.
you can always say "our top offer is currently $8k "
and see... if they don't respond mail them again after a few days " our top bider backed down and we are putting it on the market again, care to bid ?" or something like that.
i hope someone more experient them me gives you a better advice :)

As Copper said 24 and 25 can't be compared. 24 is an extremely popular ending (24 hours), which 25 is not.

If you look at NameBio.com Word24.com are pretty popular, but 25 is not.

I would be happy with anything in the low $X,XXX range or higher.

Aim high...start off with $9k but willing to accept offers. Id settle with anything in the 4 figure range. End users dont come along too often so be careful :tu:

Definitely take it if it's anything close to what you're looking for, unless its some ridiculous low ball. As stated, don't fool around too much with end-users, but definitely don't let them dictate to you either.
