What are the fees associated with Pool.com?

Do you have to pay upfront, or only when it catches the domain? And then what - do you transfer it out and into your regfly/enom/godaddy etc, account?

Havent used it before, so need some general tips (as I dont have a credit card I cant register anyway!).

The last time I used it ...

There was like a 60$ fee (They only run your Credit Card to Verify the amount is available) But do not charge unless they get the name .....

I Have not used it recently - Anyone use it lately ?

yep what he said, if more then one person ordered the domain name through them, then they auction it off between the 2 of you (or more if more backordered it)

It used to be the case before the Sealed Bid 3 day-Challenger round 1 day system started. Today, every name Pool.com acquires, you will not get it automatically, even if you're the only person who backordered the name. You will have to second guess if there is someone else within 3 days, and if you are paranoid, chances are high you will bid against yourself just to get into round 2.
