Good to hear .org does seem very undervalued especially when most viable generic .com and .net domains are taken, next best choice, lets hope for continued rise across the entire top 3 tld sector.

the who is shows a escrow company so looks like a transfer, as for the $ number who really knows, if you look at the parent companies other online properties, they are all generic terms but in lesser tlds as only one can own the King.

Considering you could get good single words for $xx on the forum, I don't see that happening anymore.

In that sense its a game changer.

I'm not expecting every .org to suddenly be worth $xx,xxx :D

I would still value .net higher than .org, I am sure if the .net was to be had for $1M the company would have purchased it instead. ORG is a confusing tld as it is based with many non profit and charity groups, so sometimes getting a commercial value sale can be hard, but poker and non profit simply do not work, and try watching tv on the weekend without coming across 5-6 different channels showing some sort of poker programming. If US gaming laws ever get reversed this gamble is going to pay off huge.

Organizations can be charities - they can also be educational, a group of hobbyists or professionals, or groups dedicated to promoting or providing information about something. To me, poker dot org suggests an organization promoting the game of poker - an informational and educational resource. Advertising wouldn't detract from that.
