Well, the .nr is for a country called Nauru, which I doubt is not very populated since I have never heard of it. However, poker.anything is a GREAT domain and is definitely worth more than a simple $1000. Even if the citizens of nauru are not allowed to have casino websites (like pakistan for example), any other company outside of the country would probably be glad to use the domain.

This domain is worth at least $xx xxx, it's definitely worth the $500/year. Try looking for buyers instead of waiting for them to contact you, since you will probably exhausted another $500 just renewing it.

Poker and casino keyword names in any extension are sure to go for big bucks. But in my opnion an extension like this really hurts the potential buyer and seller because of the following reasons

High Reg and renewal fees
Unknown domain extension

and also no significant sales of this extensions have come up so far, so that makes valuations a bit tricky.

But even then, these domains are in for 4 figure sales easily.
